This herby-like geneva was called after Cornelis Tromp, a Dutch Admiral in the 17th. century. His nickname was Taainagel. Taainagel is distilled from grain and herbs, such as Cummel.

Taainagel and Dutch Herring taste very well together. So does Caviar, Oister and smoked eel.
