You can taste all our products in our tasting room in Amsterdam at the Herengracht. Our staff will provide you with extensive knowledge and poor you a glass that is tailored to your taste and mood.

Would you like to take a tour of our distillery and take part in a special tasting?
Please contact us at contact@de-ooievaar.nl so that we may discuss if and when it would be possible to organize a tours for you: only possible when you will at least book for 15-18 people. We don’t organize tours on regular base, it’s no use coming to our distillery and ask for a tour.

Ideal location for tasting, party or reception

Proeflokaal A.van Wees is a great place to enjoy a drink. It is also the ideal location for parties and reception for a maximum op 150 people. For groups of more than 10 people, we organize liquor- and genever tastings. An original idea for when you want to have a special outing with friends, family or business relations.

Old Dutch atmosphere

You will meat each other in a unique nostalgic setting that will take you back to the glory years of the VOC (Dutch East India Company). De Admiraal is one of the most beutiful, authentically decorated tasting rooms in Amsterdam. Besides delicious genevers and liqueurs you can also taste the atmosphere of yesteryear.

Delicious meals and select wines

In addition to the wide choice of Amsterdam and old Dutch liqueurs and bitters genevers, you can also enjoy a simple meal at De Admiraal. Our cook fills the menu with honest and fresh products. In summer you can enjoy our canal side terras.

From Monday to Sunday we welcom you between 12.00 en 24.00 uur.
